Other common concerns include:

Limited life skills
I can show you how to build your dog’s ‘soft skills’ such as confidence, impulse control or calmness which then leads to great behaviour choices.

Anxiety related behaviours
Whether the cause is circumstantial, nutritional, physical, genetic or a combination, there are solutions and together we can find which will work for your dog!

Resource guarding
I can guide you in how to change your dog’s emotions around the protected item leading to a change in their behaviour.
Testimonials
No more barky dog!
Sena was nervous and barky with guests so I reached out to Joy for some help. She provided some simple enrichment tools which really helped to lift Sena’s mood meaning she was far less stressed and barky when visitors came. Joy then provided some further exercises which I am still working through but I am very pleased with the progress. Her approach has worked where others’ have not! Thank you.

New puppy support
Gaining support and advice from Joy was the best start we could have given our new puppy, Dusty. She was clear, practical and very relevant and personal to our dog and context. Joy had a thorough knowledge of the different games she suggested for each of the goals we were working on appropriate for the breed. They worked well and everyone in the family was able to participate in the training. Dusty also loved all the games and fully engaged.
So thank you from Dusty and his family!

Resource guarding Frenchie
Joy went over and above to help us. She explained why the problems happened, modelled each exercise with us and then provided guidance as we learnt. She was patient and encouraging so I felt confident when working with Joy. Sonia is doing much better and is playing with the other dogs rather than resource guarding. I never thought we would get this problem fixed. I feel very relieved.
